The 13 story treehouse is an 8 book series which follows the life of Andy and Terry, two book creator. This book will have young readers entertained throughout the whole book.
This book as I said earlier follows the life of Andy and Terry, Andy writes and Terry draws together they have created many books for the publisher, Mr Big Nose, a who has a big temper.
When their publisher calls Andy and Terry to say that their latest book is due tomorrow they freak out because they haven’t even started their book. So they set to work but they keep on getting distracted by one crazy thing after the next. Will they get their book done or not? Or will they have to go back to the monkey house?
This is the perfect book for kids under the age of 11. This is a funny and easy going book that I'm sure both boys and girls will definitely enjoy. They go on soo many adventures in there crazy thirteen story treehouse and are always doing something exciting.
This book is very easy to read and is very mild, there is no swearing and no crude humour.

Appropriateness: This book is very appropriate due to the fact that it is meant to be read by a slightly younger audience. It does have a bit of cartoon-style violence but it is very mild.

Progress: The pace of this book is alright it can get a bit long in some parts but it does not happen very frequently

Plot: The storyline is not too hard to grasp but the book will have you laughing throughout the whole story.

Readability: This book has a very basic vocabulary I can assure that you will have no difficulty reading this book.

As I mentioned earlier there are another seven books after the 13 storey treehouse so if you like this book I would highly recommend reading them all they will keep younger kids entertained and busy.
