George’s secret key to the universe is a two
-book series written by the very famous Stephen Hawking ( who has sadly passed away) and his younger daughter Lucy. Stephen Hawking is known for his many scientific breakthroughs, this book has lots of scientific talk in a way that any kid over the age of eight will be able to understand.
When George Greenby follows his pet pig out of his back yard and into his neighbor’s house,w he finds Eric a scientist and his daughter Annie as well as their amazing computer. Before long all three of them are traveling through space, they are able to do this through their computer, but this powerful computer is wanted by many people making all three of their lives dangerous. On top of that George needs to keep his space travel with his neighbors a secret from his parents who are very against technology. When someone steals the computer when Eric is in space George and Annie must find the computer before it is too late.
This book is filled with humor and many witty comments. Once you have finished this book you would for sure have learned something. It discusses ( in an entertaining way) many of Earth's big mysteries and problems, it shows how we can fix the problems of Earth and discover all of its mysteries through the power of technology.

Appropriateness: This book does not swear or contain any crude humor it also has very little violence.

Plot: The plot is decent not too dense but it can get a bit boring in parts but with the final twist you will be entertained.

Readability: This book is written in a very basic way you might get a bit lost when they through out big scientific words, but they always explain what they mean.
